October Minutes: Trent moved to accept the minutes with correct spelling of names, David Lake second. Passed.
Warrants: David Lake moved to accept the warrants. Trent second, passed. Approved warrants for November were: Click Here Designs, LLC., $35.00 domain renewal fee, Click Here Designs, LLC. $55.00 monthly fee. Five Valleys Law, PLLC-Invoices 4090, 4113, 4114 total $1239.50. Lake County Treasurer TP #16134 (Joint office building taxes in St. Ignatius) FID share $143.82. Janette Rosman, reimbursement for filing fees and printer drum. Whaley & Assoc. PC., monthly accounting fee, $750.00. Total Warrants: $2385.29. FID Admin: $540,364.00. FIIP O&M $766,860.00.
November Financials: Restitution payment from Johanna Clark Case No. 920CR012, $54.12.
Letter to Attorney General regarding Lake County Commissioners Resolution 21-20 will be sent out to FID commissioners in December for their signature. Commissioners have already approved to send the letter.
Memorandum of Understanding: MOU was sent to Ryan Rusche, Tribal Attorney and we have not received it back from the Tribe.
Public Comment: Minutes were taken at Town Hall meeting and there will be compensation for FID commissioners. David Lake attended Montana Water Resources Association meeting this past summer and FID will compensate his mileage.
Larry Nelson requested the presence of FID commissioners along with Jocko and Mission District commissioners for Budget review on November 29, 2022, BIA office, 9:00 AM. BIA then set up a Public meeting presenting 2024 budget increase to the irrigators, December 13, 2022 at Red Lion Inn, Polson.
A Charlo irrigator asked FID to hold meetings regarding submitting documents to Water Court and oppose the passing of CSKT Compact by Montana legislature, signed Donald Trump and Department of Interior. It was advised that the State of Montana wasn’t holding meetings and FID Commissioners did not want to be liable for holding such meetings that an anonymous group has been supporting.
