BIA: Eric Bruguier discussed changes coming forward due to Trump/Musk mandates. Irrigators and public can attend the meetings in person or on Zoom to hear about those changes and concerns for the project. Pumping plant is back together and being checked the first of March. FIIP is waiting for emergency funds from the Tribe. There was discussion about diverting any water over 6 feet to Hot Springs storage. Presently there is a fair amount of water being wasted. It was suggested commissioners/irrigators go to Tribal Council Meeting and present their concerns and plea. Eric said he would go with them. There has been a fair amount of work done on Hot Springs projects.

January Minutes: Bruce made motion to accept the minutes, Paul second. Passed
Warrants: Paul made motion to accept warrants, Bruce second, Passed. February warrants were: Click Here Design $55.00, Five Valley Law PLLC #6034 $547.50, Whaley & Associates $750.00, Janette Rosman reimbursement $177.87. Flathead Irrigation Admin $480,162.00 as of 1/31/25, Flathead Irrigation O&M $954,673.00 balanced with Lake Co. Treasure through 1/31/25.
Talks with Department of Interior/BIA regarding employees: Motion was made by Janette and second by Bruce to create a subcommittee to formalize and negotiate a proposal with the BIA ditch riders and a volunteer system for maintenance. To be lead by Bruce White and Paul Guenzler who can and will appoint additional members from the public, not to exceed 10 committee members.
Report on talks with Tribe and Department of Interior, BIA re: stock water letter that went out in November: Tribal Council taking lead to meet with committees regarding not ending project stock water.
Public comment: Check came in on 2/21/25 from Judicial Department for $54.13 regarding J. Clark and was deposited 2/26/25 with Lake County Treasurer.
