Attending Commissioners: Paul Guenzler, David Lake, Bruce White, Trent Coleman and Janette Rosman.
Absent: No One.
BIA: Koshon Lacount representing BIA answered irrigators questions regarding past irrigation season.
July Minutes: David Lake made motion to accept minutes, Bruce second. Passed
August Warrants: Bruce White made motion to accept warrants, David Lake second. Passed.
Warrants presented: Click Here Design $55.00, Five Valleys law #4743 $279.50, Whaley Acct. $750.00. Total invoices $1084.50. Balances: Flathead Admin $516,488.00, OM $486,467.00 thru July, 2023.
November/December combined meetings DECEMBER 6, 2023. Mission West Community Dev.
Department of Justice check for Johanna Clark came in and was deposited in Admin funds at Clerk and Recorder office.
Irrigation Project: BIA emailed a letter regarding end of season water dates. Paul called on an impromptu meeting 8/14 regarding Round Butte Water being turned off. Charlo water was turned off earlier. Irrigators meet with Skye Cooley in Ronan. Janette met with L. Nelson, between the two meetings water season was extended a few more days. Janette asked if BIA would hold meetings with Irrigation Commissioners before important data is sent out to irrigators. Commissioners would have factual data for their districts to share with irrigators they represent.
Shane Hendrickson will be Acting Manager until BIA hires someone to fill that position. They have interviewed several and decided to raise pay level to get the right person/fit for FIIP and irrigators.
Public Comments: Janette requested CHD make changes on FID web site to notify irrigators to contact FIIP/BIA for management concerns. Monica with Whaley Accounting has finished balancing irrigated ground assessments. DOR will be sending tax information to Sanders, Missoula and Lake Counties.
