October Minutes: Bruce White made motion to approve October Minutes, Dave Vincent second. Passed
Whaley Accounting Financial Package, including Warrants.
Bruce White commented on Admin Account for November is $656,519.00, when October was $660,135.00 and October warrants were only $665.90.
Dave Vincent said he has noticed that the past two months and will look into it. Warrants for November were Click Here Designs $308.00 (includes Nov. monthly maintenance fee $55, yearly domain registration fee (Flathead Irrigation District.org) $25.00 and Domain hosting fee for one year at $19.00 per month, ($228.00) Total of $308.00. Five Valley Law, $250.00 Camas review and $350.00 from May thru August 2019 General Consulting fees. Lake County Treasure, FID share in District office building in St. Ignatius yearly taxes $127.84. Whaley Accounting monthly fee for FID $600.00. Total warrants $1337.84. Dave Vincent made motion to approve warrants, Bruce White second, Passed.
Bruce made motion and Dave Vincent seconded to have Matt Williams work with Kurt Hafferman and amend FJBC water rights back to original filing: Flathead, Mission and Jocko Districts names. Passed.
Cassie Dellwo reported she put together a joint petition in regards to MVIU lawsuit for the sole purpose of reopening the lawsuit to distributing assets of the FJBC. (building and FJBC cash account managed by Lake County treasurer). David Lake made motion, Janette Rosman second, requesting Cassie Dellwo to move forward in getting District office building in St. Ignatius and FJBC checking account placed in Flathead, Mission and Jocko District ownership. Passed.
Cassie Dellwo reported on Camas Irrigators notice of Withdrawal Counsel and Consent in regards to Camas Irrigators desire to form their own district. Cassie stated Camas needs to respond within 21 days or court may close the action. If they don’t have an attorney by 11/27/19 the court may file a default. Right now we are in a holding pattern. Bruce White stated Camas irrigators were having a meeting on the 12th and that the irrigators released their Counsel.
Bruce White and Paul Guenzler are the Flathead Irrigation District Commissioners up for reelection in May 2020. Katie Harding sent forms to FID. Resolution needs to be typed, signed and passed by February 10, 2020, 5:pm. To file for election submit the Declaration for Nomination and Oath of Candidacy form to the county elections office by 5pm on February 10, 2020. You may download generic special purpose districts filing form at https://www.lakemt.gov/election/filing.html. Or contact election office to email or mail forms. Filing opens 12/12/19 and closes 5PM February 10, 2020. Write in candidates is March 2, 2020 at 5pm and the form is online as well.
