CITT: Casey Ryan, Trevor Bras and Greg Wilson gave a report on Mission Dam reservoir to limit water storage and maintain water concerns. The reservoir has been moved to the top of BIA and CITT list for improvements. Hubbard in Camas is also on the list for feasibility study. Cassie Dellwo reported she received courtesy call from Rya Rushe, concerning judication of water rights. TRIBE is not taking water rights away. You will get call in person before you lose your water rights. It’s a statute process.
Minutes: Bruce White made motion to approve April minutes, Janette seconded, Passed.
Financials: Bruce made motion to approve financials, Paul second. Passed. Financials were: Click Here Designs, $55.00, Five Valleys Law, LLC., invoice 23187 $880.00, Whaley Accounting $750.00 and Local Government Services $1300.00. Total warrants: $2985.00. FID Admin account balance $453,270.00, Flathead Irrigation O&M Account $1,037,353.00.
Amended agenda: Statement Regarding Public to oppose increased assessments for 2027 irrigation water rates from Basic A $39.00 to $46.00, Basic B $19.50 to $23.00, Minimum charge up to 4.78 acres $220.00: Bruce made motion Paul Second, Passed, for irrigators to write their concerns regarding increased water assessment fees for 2027, posted on Federal Register.
Cassie suggested to put address of BIA in newsletter for sending comments. (Unfortunately, my computer crashed and died before I could send out another email and get an article in Sanders County Ledger and Valley Journal. Janette
Delinquent Water Bills: Paul made a motion for FID to pursue a list from Lake County Clerk and recorder regarding delinquent water bills, Bruce seconded. Passed.
